Let me tell you a story.
A real estate agent came to us with a buyer because their preferred lender turned the buyer down.
The buyer’s credit score was a little low.
The buyer worked as a traveling nurse and while the hourly wage did not impress the preferred lender enough to approve the loan, I heard the buyer say he makes his money on his per diem wages. He also had a contract showing what his wages amounted to and we asked him to write out a letter to explain what he is getting paid. Add to all of this the fact that he has been doing this for 15 years, yes he had employment for 15 years.
